Pyramid Running Camp

About Pyramid Running Camp

Pyramid Running Camp was founded to provide experience, knowledge, and recreation for high school runners. We are committed to provide an incredible camp experience and bring together a strong staff with impressive running backgrounds. Our low staff to camper ratio allows for individualized instruction and attention. We also have an athletic trainer working during PRC to help injured campers or those needing medical assistance. Please read our mission and meet our staff below for more information about our vision and the background we have to offer.

Our Mission:

The Pyramid Running Camp mission is to provide a firm foundation in the sport of running through healthy, thoughtful training in a fun and educational environment. Building a base for running success starts with commitment, consistency, persistence, and determination. The Pyramid Running Camp will provide any runner the opportunity to combine these ideals with a variety of training techniques to achieve great success.

Brian, a graduate of the Shaker High School Class of 2012 and current student-athlete at Babson College, has worked at Fleet Feet Sports Albany for over three years, and has worked on website and news coverage for several national running groups and events. His strong running background stems from his 21 seasons of Cross Country, Indoor Track, and Outdoor Track. As a varsity runner at Shaker HS, he contributed to NYS Section 2 and Suburban Council Championships in all three seasons. In addition, Brian has lead the team academically, helping the Shaker Boys Indoor Track Team to earn 2nd in the NYSPHSAA Scholar Athlete Team Competition. He currently attends Babson College where he is running as a member of the school's team and studying business and entrepreneurship.

Brian's communications background is largely a result of his creation and maintenance of Shaker High School's running website, www.shakerrunning.com, for which he has been the webmaster for five years. Last summer, the website was recognized as the "Best High School Cross Country Website in the United States" by XC Nation, website affiliate of the National High School Coaches Association Cross Country division. Brian has also worked with several national running news outlets, USA Track & Field, and provided media coverage of prominent running events such as Nike Cross Nationals.
